Part-Time: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
We are seeking a reliable, tech-savvy, and personable individual to join our team as a Front Desk & Administrative Support Assistant at the Mayanot Institute of Jewish Studies. This role combines front-desk responsibilities with essential administrative and communication tasks, playing a key part in both daily operations and recruitment efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors, students, and vendors with professionalism and warmth
- Monitor and manage deliveries of food and goods from vendors
- Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries at the lobby
- Interact with Rabbis and teachers to receive information and work requests
- Perform general office tasks including data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance
- Create, update, and manage Google Sheets and Excel documents for donation reports and recruitment tracking.
- Send, monitor, and respond to WhatsApp messages for recruitment purposes and administrative communications
- Provide ongoing support to staff and students as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
Requirements:
- Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Database (CRM) experience a plus.
- Comfortable with internet, modern computer systems and online communication tools
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English (native tongue preferred); knowledge of Hebrew is a plus
- Friendly, proactive, and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work independently and handle interruptions gracefully
