How I Treat:
I use what I learnt at university as a foundation for my Chiropractic care that I give to patients. I learnt that the most important thing is to look for the source of a person’s pain or what a person’s lifestyle is and how it can be improved for better health. This is why I place an emphasis on body awareness.
Body awareness is the understanding of where your body is in space. If you don’t have this then you could be doing things all day and sleeping at night in the least optimal way. For example you could have a bad posture, be sleeping in a poor way or exercise in an incorrect way.
I always look at every person individually and see what are the needs of this person and give them care that tailors to them having addressed all aspects of their health and life to give them the best comprehensive treatment possible.
