The Hadassah Offices in Israel (HOI) serve as the liaison office for Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America (HWZOA) in Israel, representing HWZOA in Israel and providing oversight, coordination and fundraising support for Hadassah-owned entities in Israel, including Hadassah Medical Organization, Meir Shfeya Youth Village and Hadassah Neurim Youth Village. In addition, HOI is responsible for oversight of issues related to lands and properties owned by HWZOA in Israel and ensures the ongoing integrity of all such properties.

Position Overview:

The Visits and Events Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating exceptional experiences at Hadassah Hospital and the esteemed Chagall Windows. Based in Jerusalem at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem, this position oversees all aspects of visits and events, ensuring seamless execution and unforgettable moments for our guests and stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Deputy Executive Director for Development, this role offers a unique opportunity to showcase the mission and impact of Hadassah through curated events and personalized visits.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Managing all visits of donors, delegations, and tourists to Hadassah hospitals.

• Working with development team members, colleagues abroad, and hospital staff to ensure an individually tailored and meaningful experience for all visitors.

• Overseeing preparation and coordination of visits and prompt reporting for effective follow-up and continued engagement

• Responsibility for marketing and promotion of the Hadassah Herzstein Heritage Center and the Chagall Windows, including playing a key role in the redesign, renovation, and ongoing upgrades and maintenance.

• Managing the Visits and Events team of guides and logistics coordinators.

• Hosting and guiding on the Ein Kerem and Mount Scopus campuses.

• Updating and streamlining procedures to ensure effective unit operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as hospitality management, tourism, or nonprofit management.

• At least 3 years of experience in event management, donor relations, or similar roles, preferably with a focus on hospitality or nonprofit sector.

• Strong management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Hebrew and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. Additional languages, including Spanish, French, and German, are advantageous.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications abilities.

• Guiding experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Office and other PC applications.
