On behalf of a client, Trebuchet Outsourcing Services is looking for programmer to integrate the cloud-based Avalara sales tax calculation service with AccountMate, their in-house accounting system. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience using third-party APIs to provide data to inhouse systems and to become familiar with a variety of eCommerce-related programming issues.
Coding for the API can be done in a wide variety of languages, including C# .Net, C#, Java, Javascript, PHP, Perl, Python, Powershell and Ruby. The AccountMate interface will primarily be with that software’s SQL databases.
Guidance and assistance will be provided by the client’s inhouse programming team, who are familiar with AccountMate and with the client’s IT infrastructure.
This is a work-from-home position. You must be prepared to devote at least 25 hours per week to the project and to stick with it until completion, which should take 6-8 weeks. There is a possibility for additional work beyond this project.
