Position Overview
We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Grant Writer to help secure funding from foundations, philanthropies, and institutional donors. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in grant writing, excellent research and communication skills, and the ability to translate needs on the ground into powerful, data-backed proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research grant opportunities and maintain a pipeline of prospective funders
- Write compelling grant proposals, LOIs, donor reports, and case statements
- Tailor applications to each funder’s mission and guidelines
- Gather data, stories, programme details, and impact metrics from staff to support proposals
- Manage deadlines and submission schedules
- Track grant requirements, reporting timelines, and renewals
- Collaborate with the fundraising and communications team to ensure message alignment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in nonprofit grant writing (2–5+ years preferred)
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills - Strong research and analytical abilities
- Familiarity with grant databases and nonprofit funding landscapes
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure
- Passion for social impact and supporting vulnerable communities
- Knowledge of Israeli nonprofits or Jewish philanthropy is an advantage
- English at a native level (Hebrew a plus)
