Growing new opportunities this Tu B'Shvat

"???????? ????? ???????? ???? ?????????? ?????????"

The celebration of Tu B'Shvat is when we begin to see the renewal of all the things that have been quiet during the winter, when we are reminded that even when externally there is no physical sign of life, that life actually is flowing within. Tu B'Shvat reminds us of the potential that lies within ourselves and our relationships. The blossoming of the Shkediah (almond tree) calls us to recognize the goodness of that potential, even before we begin seeing the fullness and the fruits. Likewise, going to the mikveh represents the transition from a time when parts of our relationship are hidden, to a time they find greater expression. The mikveh gives us the opportunity to appreciate the positive and potential in the month, and access a sense of renewal in the cycle of our own lives.
