Ulpanat Orly is looking for Bilingual Support Admin and Staff
Part Time, Full Time

Ulpanat Orly in Ramat Bet Shemesh is a school for girls in grades ז-יב and is dedicated to bringing out the best in each student. We provide a warm and wholesome environment with dedicated staff who want to connect with our girls and inspire them. Our class sizes average  10-20 students. Students are from Anglo homes, and while many undetstand Hebrew, the girls largely prefer to speak in English with their friends and prefer the Anglo culture. Our classes are primarily taught in Hebrew and most of the girls will be taking a Bagrut in Hebrew but we prefer teachers who are bilingual so they can help girls when they don’t understand certain words in Hebrew (especially the new Olot). Some of our students do have ivchunim for learning differences such as ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia or language acquisition and it’s important for teachers to be able to cater to different learning needs and styles with warmth and patience.

We are looking to add to our incredible staff with the following positions:

  1. Menahelet Pedagogi- Experienced with the Chemed Bagrut curriculum, who can advise teachers on material and can register our students for the Bagrut, including Hakalot for learning differences and Olim. The person who fills this position must be organized and patient. They will work with the Menahelet to ensure each student and staff member is prepared for the Bagrut and that no one is falling through the cracks. We do have plans to open a Kita Mekademet and it is preferable if the candidate has experience with Chinuch Meyuchad system and can oversee all that is needed for a Kita Mekademet and also to ensure each student is getting the Hakalot they need and teachers are given guidance on how to teach students with dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety and high-functioning autism in a mainstream (small) class. This position does not need to be bi-lingual.
  2. Yoetzet- Ability to interact with students from a variety of hashkafic backgrounds, including several who have anxiety. Bi-lingual. Able to advise with Hakalot and work on Talas of students with ivchunim.
  3. Teachers:
    1. Mechanchot for Chativa and HS. Warm, inspiring,  religious role model. Bilingual and interested to interact with our students with warmth. Understanding that our girls come from different hashkafic backgrounds and accepting of this.
    2. Math- Variety of positions available from 7-12; Including Bagrut- 3 and 4 yechidot. Bi-lingual. Able to teach a variety of levels in small classes. Able to teach mid and low level. Experienced with the Bagrut, preferred.
    3. Rakezet Shiluv; Morah Metakenet. Bi-lingual as Morah Metakenet.
    4. Teachers for Bagrut subjects of Ezachut, Historia, Lashon, Sifrut
    5. Teachers for Chativa- Lashon, Torah, Halacha, Geographia.

All teaching candidates should be fully fluent in Hebrew with fairly good English, warm, patient and interested to inspire students
