Attention detail-driven dynamos! On behalf of a medical supply company client, Trebuchet is on the hunt for a Clerical Assistant extraordinaire!
In this role you will be juggling two tasks, Prior Authorization and Drop Ship Management.
In the Prior Authorization role, you will be responsible for reviewing assigned physician orders, investigating benefit information, determining if an authorization is required, and obtaining authorization as-needed from insurance companies in a compliant, timely manner.
In the Drop Ship Management role you will be forwarding orders for non-stock items to the appropriate suppliers and following up to assure that the proper items were shipped and received, payments from customers and to suppliers are received, sent and properly recorded, and dealing with problem resolution as needed.
You must have a minimum of one year’s experience in Insurance and/or pre-certification, or in a relevant role such as front desk or billing, and strong computer skills. You must be a mother-tongue level English speaker. Experience in DME preferred.
You must be able to commit to a minimum of thirty US East Coast work hours per week. Please let us know your desired work schedule in your response.
