The role carries full responsibility for the organization’s external relations and fundraising efforts in Israel and worldwide, working with a wide range of stakeholders, including private donors, foundations, business companies, government ministries, public bodies, and strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and leading a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the organization
- Developing and managing relationships with private donors in Israel and abroad
- Working with philanthropic foundations, corporations, and public organizations
- Developing funding sources from government ministries and public authorities
- Managing and coordinating external relations: media, PR, communications, campaigns, and strategic partnerships
- Initiating and leading active fundraising campaigns in Israel and internationally
- Leading, managing, and training teams in Israel and abroad
Requirements
- At least 5 years of proven senior management experience in fundraising / resource development / external relations
- Significant advantage for experience in the social / nonprofit sector
- Experience working with donors, foundations, companies, and/or government ministries
- Experience leading marketing and media campaigns (social media, advertising, etc.)
- Strong familiarity with the philanthropic world in Israel and internationally
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities, persuasion, and trust-building capacity
- Ability to work independently as well as within a management team
- Strong strategic thinking combined with high execution capabilities
- Excellent English – mandatory (spoken and written)
