Ohr Somayach is looking for someone to organise, coordinate and execute our digital content, communications and program marketing.

We are looking for someone who is organised, creative, good with technology and AI, and passionate about kiruv and Ohr Somayach.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website, YouTube & Podcasts

• Manage content end to end, from recording shiurim to editing, uploading and publishing.
• Ensure content has engaging titles, thumbnails, descriptions and transcriptions.
• Organise and update content across our website, YouTube and podcast channels.
• Coordinate with our web developers and ensure the website remains updated and engaging.

2. Events & Campus Content

• Coordinate marketing and communications for Ohr Somayach events, both locally and internationally.
• Collect photos, videos and information from our different programs.
• Prepare and publish event content across our website, newsletters and other channels.
• Create posters and marketing materials using AI and design tools.
• Manage content on our campus digital screens.

3. Newsletters & Communications

• Manage newsletters from start to finish, including content selection, layout, testing and distribution.
• Coordinate newsletters covering Torah content, campus news, alumni updates, events and sponsorship opportunities.
• Interview alumni, rabbanim and faculty to develop engaging content.
• Manage email and WhatsApp communications, including subscriber databases.

4. Social Media

• Create and publish YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos.
• Manage relevant social media channels.
• Repurpose shiurim, events and campus content into engaging posts.
• Help reach new audiences, particularly Jewish students and young professionals.

5. General Marketing Coordination

• Coordinate communications across different Ohr Somayach programs and offices.
• Work with our web developers on online application forms and related communications.
• Assist our marketing advisors with campaigns and special projects.

• Good understanding of AI tools, social media, websites and digital technology.
• Creative, with a good eye for design and presentation.
• Strong English writing and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with different people and teams.

Position Details

Location: On campus at Ohr Somayach, Yerushalayim
Hours: Part-time, flexible, approximately 15–20 hours per week
Growth: Opportunity for the role and hours to grow over time.
