FXCM is seeking an experienced Architect to work closely with the IT and Infosec teams in developing architectural standards and practices. The Architect in this role will interact with all areas of the enterprise, and will be responsible for documenting technical requirements for all integrations required for the effort. This documentation will then serve as the build instructions for technical implementation of the project. In addition to documenting efforts, the Enterprise Architect will also contribute to strategic planning of infrastructure and implementations of existing tools. The Enterprise Architect will report to the CISO, and function as an individual contributor.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Develop architectural standards and practices
  • Work with Project teams to document technical requirements
  • Create integration documentation for Infosec and IT consumption
  • Work with InfoSec team on governance for proposed technical designs
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all areas of technical integration
  • Contribute to security strategy as defined by the CISO
  • Contribute to the overall direction for the IT production environment
  • Advise on release process automation
  • Contribute to efforts towards best-in-class application monitoring and benchmarking
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure that operational objectives are included and addressed
  • Stay current with leading technologies that can help optimally deliver the FXCM platform

Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience Job Holder should have:

  • Must be eligible to work in Israel
  • English at a professional level (written and verbal)
  • General UNIX/Linux knowledge
  • General Windows/Azure knowlege
  • Comfort with computer networking
  • Firm grasp of firewalling concepts
  • Understanding of information security practices
  • Experienced programmer, especially with scripting languages favored by DevOps, (Ruby/Python)
  • Expert in modern CI/CD
  • Experience with Agile development processes, preferably using Atlassian tools
  • Cloud architectures, especially AWS/Azure, and Cloud-First development practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • CI/CD: Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins/Bamboo, Git, containerization
  • Monitoring
  • A plus: automating security tools like SAST and DAST

Office Location: Next to the Jerusalem Central Bus Station / Tachana Merkazit & The Navon Train Station
Hybrid: Jerusalem (Minimum 2 Days per Week) / Work From Home
Hours: Full time, 42.5 hours per week; Monday-Friday, with Friday as a shortened day (Possibility of working Sunday-Thursday once training is completed.)
PLUS 20 vacation days a year and holidays
