Job description

We are seeking a dynamic VP of Sales and Marketing to lead our commercial strategy and execution as we launch ZSmile in Israel and expand to the US market. This role requires a unique combination of sales leadership, marketing expertise, and deep understanding of both the aligner industry and consumer beauty market. You will be responsible for building and executing our go-to-market strategy, developing sales channels, and creating compelling marketing campaigns that position ZSmile as the lifestyle alternative to traditional aligners.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for B2B (dental professionals) and B2C (direct consumer) channels
  • Build and manage high-performing sales teams across multiple markets
  • Establish partnerships with dental practices, orthodontists, and distribution channels
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve ambitious sales targets
  • Develop pricing strategies and sales processes that optimize conversion and profitability

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Lead brand positioning and messaging strategy, positioning ZSmile as a lifestyle/beauty solution rather than medical device
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional channels
  • Oversee content creation, including compelling before/after transformation content
  • Manage influencer partnerships and brand ambassador programs
  • Drive direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives and e-commerce growth
  • Collaborate with product team on customer feedback and market insights

Strategic Planning

  • Develop market entry strategies for Israel and US markets
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research
  • Create and manage marketing and sales budgets
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for sales and marketing performance
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention strategies

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead sales and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and finance
  • Manage external agencies and marketing partners
  • Foster a results-driven, innovative culture

Required QualificationsEssential Experience

  • 10+ years of senior sales and marketing experience in the aligner/orthodontic industry
  • Proven track record of success in both B2B and B2C sales in healthcare/beauty sectors
  • Experience with FDA-regulated products and understanding of medical device marketing regulations
  • Strong background in digital marketing, social media, and direct-to-consumer campaigns
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams and marketing organizations

Industry Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of the aligner/orthodontic market, competitive landscape, and customer segments
  • Experience with beauty/cosmetics marketing and consumer psychology preferred
  • Knowledge of dental professional networks and distribution channels
  • Understanding of both Israeli and US healthcare/beauty markets

Technical Skills

  • Fluency in English and Hebrew (required)
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and social media platforms
  • Data-driven approach to sales and marketing decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/technology-driven healthcare products
  • Background in consumer lifestyle or beauty brands
  • Previous startup or scale-up experience
  • Network of contacts in dental/orthodontic industry

Location Requirements

  • Must be based in Israel
