Israeli forces arrest 10 terrorists in Judea and Samaria.
In Jenin, in northernmost Samaria, IDF troops arrested a wanted terrorist under the guidance of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and located explosives intended to harm soldiers overnight Tuesday. In addition, an IAF craft attacked an armed terrorist identified in the area.
Israeli security forces arrested 10 wanted terrorists in operations throughout Judea and Samaria overnight Tuesday, the IDF said on Wednesday.
Forces also made arrests and confiscated weapons in other raids across Judea and Samaria.
The detained individuals and weapons were transferred for interrogations and further processing.
There were no casualties to Israeli personnel.
Since the start of the war on Oct. 7, 3,400 terrorists have been arrested throughout Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley, 1,500 of whom are members of Hamas.
Israeli security personnel killed three Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists, including a commander, during overnight operations in northern Samaria early Tuesday.
The three terrorists were slain in Tubas and the nearby al-Fari’ah camp, located east of Nablus (Shechem), according to reports, which cited the Palestinian Authority’s official Wafa news agency.
One of the terrorists, Ahmed Daraghmeh, 26, was reportedly a commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad-affiliated Tubas Battalion terrorist group.
The two others killed were identified as Osama Jabr al-Zalt, 26, and Muhammad Samih Bayadsa, 32. Three others were wounded in the armed clashes.
Later on Tuesday, Israeli security forces shot and killed a Palestinian attempting to illegally cross from Judea into Israel. Officers patrolling the security barrier near Bethlehem opened fire after the suspect failed to identify himself, according to a police statement.
During the night, the IDF also operated in Nablus and Ramallah, as well as in the towns of Illar and Jaba’, where soldiers arrested 20 wanted suspects, including senior terrorists.

During the raid, an Israeli Air Force craft attacked terrorists who had opened fire on the ground forces. Troops also confiscated weapons and uncovered explosives planted under roads. Fourteen additional terrorism suspects were arrested.
Israeli forces detained 26 more suspects in operations across Judea and Samaria, including five members of a Hamas student cell in Hebron.
Soldiers also confiscated 10,000 shekels ($2,800) during the operations.
