Visitor Experience Leader

Pantry Packers maintains a packing plant in Jerusalem where visitors and tourists partner in its efforts by helping to pack food staples which are included in crates to needy Israeli households. Pantry Packers is the food distribution arm of Colel Chabad, the oldest continuously operating network of social services in Israel, established in 1788.

POSITION & LOCATION:

Full time in the Talpiot, Jerusalem warehouse, from 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM (40 hours/ week)

Available to begin November.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain
• warehouse efficiency, appearance, functionality, and sanitation
• Lead smooth production of the warehouse; oversee stock/ inventory & waste reduction
• Supervise warehouse associates and ensure safe use of equipment; answer questions that arise

• Provide a pleasant experience by managing, engaging and instructing each group
• Sign off on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Plan ahead for the next days’ groups

REQUIREMENTS:

- Mother tongue English (necessary), good level Hebrew (preferred), Spanish (a major plus)

- Able to lift and move crates of about 25 kilos, operate a manual pallet jack

- Solid customer service & communication skills

- Confident, energetic, takes initiative

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Basic photography and computer skills

- Available to occasionally work outside of regular hours (a plus)

COMPENSATION:

Hourly salary between 35 -40 shekels/ per hour; commensurate with experience.
