Job Title: Bank Liaison & Mortgage File Manager
Overview
Anglo Mortgages is a fast-growing mortgage brokerage serving English-speaking clients purchasing property in Israel, both locally and from overseas.
We are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and proactive Bank Liaison to take full ownership of mortgage files from submission through to final release of funds. This role is responsible for all day-to-day communication with banks, ensuring files move forward efficiently, requirements are handled promptly, and no momentum is lost at any stage.
You will act as the bank liaison on each file, handling all aspects of the process.
You will receive structured, well-prepared files along with full administrative support from our team. The focus of this role is to secure strong approvals, ensure files are opened efficiently, and drive them through the banking system to timely release.
This is not a secretarial position, and proven experience processing mortgage files (minimum of 50–100 files) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bank Communication & File Management
- Act as the primary point of contact with all banks
- Receive organized loan files and submit mortgage applications
- Work with our team to determine the most suitable bank for each client
- Review files prior to submission to ensure accuracy, completeness, and bank readiness
- Manage all bank follow-ups, questions, and additional requirements
- Drive files forward across all stages: submission → approval → conditions → final release
- Prevent delays by ensuring fast, clear, and complete responses at all times
- Select appraisers and negotiate best possible valuations, with support from the administrative team
2. Systems & Reporting
- Maintain real-time updates in CRM across all files
- Log all actions, communications, and status changes as they happen
- Flag delays, risks, or issues early, with proposed solutions
- Ensure complete visibility of the pipeline at all times
- Attend weekly online team meetings to align on goals and challenges
Performance Expectations (Critical)
- Proactive communication — no chasing required
- Full ownership of files — nothing falls through the cracks
- Real-time system updates — work is logged as it happens
- Consistent daily progress across all active files
- High-quality submissions — minimal bank pushback
Key Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience processing mortgage files (minimum of 50–100 files)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication (fluent Hebrew and strong English required)
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously without loss of quality
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with Israeli banks and handling pressure
- Must be available to work in banks in the Jerusalem, Modiin, and Beit Shemesh area.
Working Structure
- Sunday–Thursday
- 9:00–15:00 or 9:00–17:00 (depending on the strength of the candidate)
- Monthly salaried position - approximately 100 nis an hour gross salary depending on experience, with flexible terms for excellent candidates
