Database/Search Backend Developer

We (jewishinteractive.org) are looking for a freelance experienced Backend/Database developer for an educational platform project that is in its early stages. 

You will work on an exciting new EdTech project working closely with an expanding highly experienced global team. This role reports directly to the project tech lead.

• 3+ years of professional development
• Deep knowledge of SQL (postgres)
• Experience with Algolia is a big plus
• Familiarity with Rust is a big plus
• Minimal javascript (vanilla, ES6)
• Available to work according to Israeli working hours (or near to)
• Impeccable people and communication skills (role entails working closely with a senior-level development team)
• Experience of working independently (and with remote/and or overseas team)
• A keen eye for detail
• Ability to work methodically
