Israel’s death toll from the coronavirus rose to 639 on Wednesday night, as Israel appeared to mark its deadliest day since the start of the pandemic, with 17 fatalities recorded over the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry tallied another 1,731 coronavirus cases since Tuesday night, bringing the total number of infections to 87,878.
