Breslov Global Community (parent of Breslov Torah) in Jerusalem is currently looking for an experienced bookkeeper that will track our finances in Israel and USA.

Breslov Global Community is recognized as a charitable organization in the United States (501c) and distributes charitable funds in Israel.

The ideal candidate has experience tracking donations and expenses, building budgets, creating financial reports and managing salaries. The bookkeeper will work closely with the operations teams. We are looking for a self-motivated, solution oriented team player.

We work with Quickbooks and Salesforce.

The bookkeeping position is part time 10 hours per week (morning meetings) remotely with in-person weekly meetings.

The bookkeeper will be responsible for the following:

  • Handle all payments and deposits.
  • Record all transactions, expenses and donations.
  • Categorize and allocate transactions by program, category and fundraising source etc.
  • Create financial reports
  • Create forward looking budgets and cost estimations
  • Manage multiple bank accounts
  • Work with our CPA to fulfil all US and Israel government reporting

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience as a bookkeeper
  • Experience with QuickBooks and accounting programs
  • Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
  • Have experience working in a non profit
  • Mother tongue English speaker and working knowledge of Hebrew
