A Jerusalem-based technology company is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to join its development team. This role involves hands-on work with Linux-based embedded systems in complex hardware and networking environments. Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based systems.
Perform board bring-up, kernel configuration, and hardware-software integration.
Design and implement networking and communication features for embedded platforms.
Write and maintain clear, structured software specifications and documentation.
Debug and resolve complex issues across hardware, kernel, and application layers.
Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
Minimum two years of hands-on programming experience in Linux kernel development, board bring-up, or networking applications.
Proven ability to write structured and well-documented software specifications.
Eligibility for security clearance and willingness to work on projects in the defense sector.
Excellent spoken Hebrew and strong English reading comprehension.
Broad technical background, with formal engineering education or equivalent professional experience.
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
