What Does This Mean?

How We Interpret Situations, Things, and People

Given by Rabbi Shlomo Kory, Certified NLP Master-Practitioner

We often observe things happening and immediately come to conclusions about what they mean..

But how do we know that our conclusions are accurate?

  • “The store gave me the wrong change. That means they are dishonest.”
  • “She didn't say hello. That means she doesn't like me.”
  • "There was a violent incident in the city yesterday. That means the city is unsafe.”
  • "The supermarket is sold out of that food item, so it must be delicious."

Sometimes we automatically give a particular meaning to what we perceive— without considering other possible explanations.

And, when we make inaccurate assumptions, we can damage our relationships with other people and make mistakes in our dealings with the world.

In this free Zoom seminar, we will explore how we form our beliefs about the world, how to examine whether those beliefs are accurate, and how to develop more accurate and useful ways of interpreting what we see.

When: 8:35 PM , ב' תשרי, October 13

The seminar is free. To receive a Zoom link email me at [email protected]

I plan to make a video recording of the seminar and send it to anyone who contacts me.
