Carmei Hair, down from the shuk on Agrippas, is definitely operating, accepting clothing and maybe other items as well. It is located right next to its very attractive soup kitchen. Their telephone number is 500-4222.
Wizo is the place you are looking for if you intend to donate. Either leave the clothes in the container outside Wizo on 1 Mapu street or take them to the shop "HaBigudit" which sells their wares on 11 Hillel street.
Moda is the charity second hand store on Rahel Imenu which is right beside One Family at the circle. Proceeds go to support victims of terror. It is run by one woman who is helped by her family and volunteers.

TZVIKA AT 052-382-3247 / RAMA AT 052-347-4099. They run a gemach for needy families and are always looking for clothing (babies, children and adults), linens and blankets, electrical appliances (in working condition)
and furniture. They will come and collect it. They also have a van/truck to help people move or transport items. Could be that they only speak Hebrew, the person who told me about them wasn't sure.

ICHLU RE'IM SOUP KITCHEN at 182 Jaffe Street (next to the gas station) feeds 300 - 400 people daily-- they are the destitute, the sick, the homeless, the jobless and children who have less than enough to eat at home. Bat Ayin clothing fund for the needy is looking for any used clothes , & blankets (may be old or frayed) you don't any more use.We give these clothes to anyone in need from all over Gush Etzion, soldiers, the young adults on the men's Chozrim B'tshuvah Yeshiva and the Women's similar program, families of many children, the poor anyone in need. Also if you have old or used cooking utensils, towels, sheets or furniture for young couples that would be a great help.
