| A Play About Jewish Conversion - in English at the Khan Theater

In a Stranger's Grave, Miriam Metzinger's challenging drama about Jewish conversion and the controversy over conversion annulment, is opening at the Khan Theater, Jerusalem, next week. Produced by Theater and Theology, every performance is followed by an interview with a scholar about the Israeli conversion crisis.

May 21 - show followed by interview with Rabbi Chuck Katz, a founder of Giyur Kehalacha
May 22 - show followed by interview with Miriam Metzinger, the playwright and a convert
June 4 - show followed by interview with Rabbi Dr. Nathan Cardozo, founder of the Cardozo Academy and a convert.
June 5 - show followed by interview with Rabbi Jeffrey Saks, founding director of ATID
June 11 - show followed by interview with Rabbi Chuck Katz, a founder of Giyur Kehalacha
June 12 - show followed by interview with Rabbanit Shani Taragin, RA'M at Midreshet Lindenbaum
June 13 - show followed by interview with Rabbanit Anne Gordon, a founder of Chochmat Nashim

Theater and Theology has also produced Divine Right by Roy Doliner - a drama about the Disputation of Barcelona, and Off the Derech Dolorosa by Tom Dudzick - a comedy about a parochial school teacher who wants to change the way religion is taught and thought.
