About our Event: Israeli Cinema Series

The Israel Cinema Series created by the Tel Aviv Arts Council is a long standing monthly tradition bringing the best of Israeli film to our young patrons of the arts. Beyond celebrating this art form, we know that movies form a tremendous amount of any social pop culture. We hope that by watching these films and hearing from the artists that created them, our community can better understand Israeli society, its history, its people, its slang, and its soul.

The Tel Aviv Arts Council's Israeli Cinema Series is sponsored by: the Am Yisrael Foundation that Champions the Young Pioneers of Observant Zionism by supporting initatives that connect young Jews to their heritage and to the Land of Israel - AmYisrael.com, the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipal Dept for Immigration Absorption that seeks to help each and every new resident build their home and feel at home in our community - facebook.com/Olim.Tel.Aviv, and the Tel Aviv Cinematheque that offers the Israeli public an intimate and profound experience of the art of cinema, as well as being a home to Israeli films and filmmakers - Cinema.co.il/en.

About the Organization: Tel Aviv Arts Council

Young Patrons of the Arts Celebrating Israeli Creative Culture

The Tel Aviv Arts Council celebrates the creative culture of Israel by providing a venue for young creatives and lovers of the arts to gather while attending lectures and demonstrations by world class artists, performers, and technologists.

The common theme in our events is a playful exploration of the world around us and the search for something unique that expands our vistas and leaves one with a sense of wonder. All of our private events are non-profit, but professionally produced to provide attendees with a comfortable environment to engage with the arts community, and take place in various venues throughout our great city.
